Edit: Changed the background and tweaked a few things, and yes, that is why it why I notified my watchers. I think it looks a look better now than it did before. >_>

Also, while we're off subject, I got a nice pastel information book and it's quite the interesting read (those kinds of books are pretty much the only books I will read voluntarily, sad to say). I don't care much for the techniques they talk about, as I have my own unique techniques, but there are some things that I apparently do that are deemed 'difficult even for professionals'. Sweet. That's a real ego booster right there!

They have some nice skies in that book too, so I guess I'll be focusing on drawing sky backgrounds now, or any background for that matter instead of the boring still colour ones.

Yes, the colours as not exactly what they should be, but with pastels it hardly ever is. I could have probably spent a little more time on this though. I had to stop halfway through because of cramps and pretty much rushed the rest. Maybe I'll work on it some more tomorrow... God, I hate reworking things that are 'done'.

I also think this is the first time I've drawn something so close to what I originally planned. Go me!

Girl doesn't have a name yet. I'm looking for one. So far I'm failing, but it'll come to me. It will... Hydra Ratchets... It's still a working name, but let's leave it at that for now in case I ever need her.

I don't know what to say about this girl without sounding cliche, so here's 's version of it:

"Hydra Ratchets... the legendary mechanic in a small town near the canyons... Notorious for her fast, high quality service on any machine. So proficient she is that as she works, her arms seem to be more than two and appear like Hydra's heads!

She is an unstoppable mechanical genius!

Keep well away when she's angry, she knows how to turn the battery charger into a Taser!"

I love it. Basically all you need to know about this character (if she ever comes back) is that she is a great mechanic, owning all the other male mechanics, one of which is her friend. She's odd, we've already established that. She is and eccentric loud mouth and acts very clumsy (stupid you could even say since she probably has ADHD too...) when it comes to anything other than her work.

And she can kick ass. Not really, but she thinks she can. She also thinks she's a chicken and tries to fly off. And chickens can't fly.

Overall, she's just a happy-go-lucky person, not a care in the world... until...
