Didn't come out exactly as imagined, in fact I'm sure the colours ruined this, but it's a start. I still need a lot of practice when it comes to inking and coloring,... And JUST now I remember that I could have added so much more detail with the pastel pencils, but oh well!

 reports, 1d 12h agoDaily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 22h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. And I actually only realized that RIGHT after submitting it. I was like 'Oh shit, Jacquie's gonna bitc- OOOH A BUTTERFLY!'
I shaded the scales too, but you can't really see that. If you could only see the sketch (which I was going to upload, but it was ugly so I didn't) it is so detailed.
